By turning on the “Pre-download Overlay” feature in the SDK, you’ll allow Aurasma to download overlay when your customers are on WiFi.
This means that if your customers have the app open but do not have the viewfinder active, content can still be downloading in the background. As a result, when customers try and scan content it is likely that the image recognition and subsequent load will be much quicker.
This functionality is by default turned on.
On iOS you can control this with disableOverlayPreload in the AurasmaPlugin class. On Android, this is controlled by the EnableableOption preDownloadOverlayData.
